Dorothy M. Walker, age 101 of Waupun, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Barrett House - Ripon.

Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Kingston Cemetery.

Dorothy was born in Green Lake County on August 5, 1919, the daughter of William F. and Jessie P. (Zank) Prellwitz. A 1937 graduate of Ripon High School, she attended cosmetology school in Oshkosh. Dorothy practiced cosmetology for a few years before working for the Ripon Cookie Factory. On June 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to her husband, Walter L. Walker in Ripon. In their earlier years, they loved traveling together, and greatly enjoyed going to Door County for special occasions. She was a former member of Kingston United Methodist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her son, William "Bill" (Linda) Walker of Waupun; grandchildren, Nathan (Bethany), Ryan (Catherine), Bill (Jill), and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Maria, Aaron, Zoe, Forrest, Xander, Griffon, Ruby, Max, and Stella; sister, Ann (Carl) Yerk of Ripon; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter in 2015; son, Lawrence; brother, Lester Prellwitz; and other relatives.
