Duane K. Crandall

Duane Kenneth Crandall of Beaver Dam, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Duane was born on December 5, 1943, the son of Kenneth and Lucille (Pratt) Crandall. He was united in marriage to his wife, Janet Trudell in 1990. He worked at Rockwell in Randolph, as well as Chrysler Corporation and Mayville Metals. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Duane attended Voices of Peace Gospel Fest in Hilbert every year for the past 16 years and always knew he would be saved. He was a hard worker and always willing to lend a hand to family or friends. Music was a passion of his and he enjoyed playing the keyboard and dancing. In his free time, he took pride in caring for his flowers and liked playing cards and board games with friends and family.

Duane is survived by his wife, Jan Crandall; step-children, Brian (Michelle) Smith, Gary Smith, and Karen (Kirk) Schroeder; step-grandchildren, Colin Bourdeau, Kristin Smith, Taylor Hartman, and Tyson Hartman; sister, Donna Behrmann; sisters-in-law, Patricia Russell and Shirley Ann Harper; aunt, Henrietta Thompson and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lucille Crandall; brothers, Douglas and Terry Crandall; brothers-in-law, Albert Russell, George Harper, and Robert Behrmann; and other relatives.

Visitation for Duane will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will take place at Cambria Cemetery.
