Duane Van Denburgh

Duane Allen Van Denburgh, 59, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI after an illness. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

Duane was born at Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam, WI on October 12, 1966, the son of Robert and Charlotte (nee: Beske) Van Denburgh. He was baptized at and a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School.

Duane was well known as a friend to all and always wanted to help others, humans or animals. He loved to cook and share meals with family and friends. In warmer months he could frequently be seen fishing near the dam.

Duane is survived by his mother Charlotte of Beaver Dam, sister AnnMarie Walsh of Chicago, Illinois, niece Kerry Walsh of Chicago, and nephew Patrick Walsh of Chicago, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert William Van Denburgh; grandparents Gilbert and Mildred (nee: Wittenberg) Beske, Willard Van Denburgh Sr. and Anna (nee: Bayes) Van Denburgh Green.
