Earl Minter Bailey, 87, of Waupun, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home.



Earl was born in Kenosha on February 16, 1925 the son of Lloyd and Emma Zahn Bailey. In March of 1946 he married Doris Marie Harmsen in Kenosha. Earl served his country during WWII with the 13th Air Force, 18th fighter group, 44th fighter squadron. His best friends were his family.

Earl is survived by his son, Jerry Bailey; his daughter, Karen Sevick; grandchildren, Sarah (Jamie) Beek, Jeremy Bailey (Megan Fischer), Heidi Bailey, Karri Sevick (Andy Gooch), Traci Sevick and Glenn Schmitz; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Cameron Beek, Zander Bailey, another soon to be great-grandson; three sisters-in-law, Nellie Aylesworth, Laura Hubert, and Thelma Harmsen; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris; a brother, Marvin Bailey; a sister, Doris Whiterock; and a daughter-in-law, Pam Bailey.


Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.


Services:
Funeral services for Earl Bailey will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. J.D. McCarty officiating. American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will perform military rites.

Burial:
Burial will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah.
