Obituary
Edward T. Arters Jr., age 70, of Westford, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at home in Westford.
Edward was born on November 20, 1944 in Pennsylvania, the son of Edward Arters Sr. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and was united in marriage to Marianne Winkler on August 31, 1984 in Brookfield. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Enerpac in Columbus for 38 years. Spelunking, skydiving, and reading science fiction novels were amongst his hobbies. He enjoyed surfing the internet, playing computer solitaire and Mahjong. Edward served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Army.
Ed is survived by his wife Marianne of Westford; Sister Marge (Buzz) of Flordia; Brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Norma Joy of West Bend.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service celebrating Edwards life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Pastor Jeffrey Nicholas as officiant. A Gathering will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edward's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
