IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eileen M.
Wuerch
June 2, 1952 – October 29, 2022
"...and this is all because of your Son, Jesus Christ." Surrounded by family, and at the very moment the name of Jesus was spoken during a final prayer, on October 29, 2022, Eileen Marie Wuerch, age 70 of Markesan, was welcomed into her eternal home.
Visitation for Eileen will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, W3377 Main St., Manchester from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Plagenz officiating. Burial will take place at Manchester (#1) Cemetery.
Eileen was born in La Crosse on June 2, 1952, the daughter of Richard and Eunice (Winchel) Job. On June 7, 1975, she was united in marriage to her husband, Ronald Gene Wuerch in Manchester, WI.
After graduating from Cashton High School, Eileen attended Oshkosh School of Nursing and Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. She worked in nursing for 10 years and later, Eileen helped farm their land and worked as a teacher's aide in the special education department for the Markesan School District for 25 years.
Traveling was something Eileen greatly enjoyed, especially when she could be on the lake or visit the ocean, and she appreciated the time she was able to spend at the condo in Orange Beach, Alabama. She found great joy in meeting new people and making friends. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, from helping her daughters in 4-H, to cooking for the family during holidays, and cherishing the time she had with her grandchildren.
Eileen is survived by her husband, Ronald Wuerch; children, Lisa (Brent) Burdick, Tammie (Joe) Emery, Trisha (Jason) Festerling, and Kristi (Casey) Zurbuchen; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Hill, Loren Job, Emily Schmitz, and David Job; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Jack Cary; brother, Lione Job; and other relatives.
Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan is honored to be serving the family.
