Elizabeth MacHugo, age 98 of Mt. Prospect, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Autumn Bay in Ripon, WI.
Elizabeth was born on October 30, 1915 in Tindal, Canada. She was a graduate of Winnipeg College. She retired from the Northern Trust Bank in Chicago, IL after 27 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect, IL. Elizabeth had many interests which included playing in a band with her sisters when she was younger, doing crafts, knitting, gardening and spending time with her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Theodore (Michelle) MacHugo of Kingston,WI and a grandson, Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael MacHugo, and her sisters, Val, Marie and Emily.
A Graveside Service for Elizabeth will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL.
Memorials in Elizabeth's name may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056.
