Ella Kluz, 93, of Waupun, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
Ella was born December 21, 1918 in the town of Trenton the daughter of Paul and Mary Bauer Warmka. On February 12, 1941 she married Paul Kluz at St. Mary’s Church in Fox Lake. Ella was born and raised on a farm and continued farming with her husband after they were married. Ella enjoyed traveling, gambling, playing cards, and visiting with family and friends.
Ella is survived by 15 children, Joseph (Nancy) Kluz of Fox Lake, David Kluz (friend Jo Ann) of Beaver Dam, Earl (Janice) Kluz of Beaver Dam, John (Pat) Kluz of Beaver Dam, Eugene Kluz of Juneau, Kathleen (Ronald) Steger of Mayville, Dennis (Carol) Kluz of Lakeland, FL, Anthony (Sharon) Kluz of Watertown, Karen (Gary) Colclasure of Ramona, CA, Mary (Brian) Ackley of Florida, Teresa (Judd) Franke of Kewaunee, Kay (Lee) Kiser of Fox Lake, Joan (Timothy) Duellman of Burnett, Patrick (Kim) Kluz of Waupun, and Jerome Kluz of Waupun; 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; step great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Zastrow of Horicon; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1992; two grandsons, Paul Kiser and Joseph Kluz, Jr.; two brothers, Andrew and Clarence Warmka.
The family wishes to thank the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac for the special care given to Ella.
Services:
Funeral services for Ella Kluz will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Fr. Michael Wild officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with a Rosary Service at 4:45 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
The Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home of Waupun and staff are serving the family.
