Obituary
Elroy W. Sanford, age 81 of Mayville, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph.
Elroy was born on April 15, 1933 to William and Ethel (Wells) Sanford. After graduating from high school in Ellsworth, WI, he honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1952-55. Elroy was a math teacher at Mayville High School for many years and enjoyed gardening, genealogy, working on his computer, and planting and tending to his walnut trees.
Elroy is survived by his daughters Karan (Denis) Gautron, Lee Ann Sanford, and Angela O'Meara; his sister Beverly (Don) Kreye; his sister-in-law, Reta Sanford; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Elroy was preceded in death by parents, wife Norma, brother Robert, sons Bill and David, and son-in-law Timothy O'Meara.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. Private family inurnment will take place at Ashippun Cemetery, Dodge County.
