Obituary

Emajean Graff, age 94 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Beaver Dam Health Care Center.

Emajean was born on July 22, 1930, on the family farm in rural Randolph, the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Kasmiski) Sadoski. She graduated from a rural one room Courtland-Bennett Grade School, Randolph High School, and Milwaukee Business College, where she was a member of Beta Chi Rho, an International Honorary Business Society. On April 28, 1951, she was united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lost Lake to Donald Graff, a professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with whom she was great at arranging and engaging in his social gatherings. Emajean occupied her time throughout the years with the Educator's Progress Service in Randolph, Wandrei's Café in Randolph, First National Bank (Trust Department) in Madison, Cherokee Elementary School in Madison as a Teacher's Aid, The Gift Shop in Austin, TX, as secretary and lunchroom supervisor at Armstrong Elementary School in Hoffman Estates, IL, as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts in Alexandria, VA, Maurices, Winslow's Hallmark, Maxwell Street, Elliot's, with the American Red Cross of Dodge County since 1978, as a volunteer at Hillside Hospital in the gift shop and reception desk, as a past board member of New Beginnings Homeless Shelter, and with Partners of Beaver Dam Hospital. Her fondest love was her two children, Todd and Jenifer.

Emajean is survived by her two children, Todd (Diana) Graff and Jenifer (Ron Roeder) Graff; brother, Donald Sadoski; sister-in-law, Elaine Graff; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald on January 13, 1991; her parents; twin sister, Ellajean Gahlman; brother-in-law, Henry Gahlman; brother, Gervis Sadoski; grandson, Eric Arthur; sisters-in-law, Carole Graff, Beverly Sadoski, and Eva Sadoski; and other relatives.

Honoring Emajean's request, no formal services will be held.
