Evangeline “Eva” Doerr, five weeks of age, was taken home to Jesus on Friday, February 10, 2012.
Eva was born January 2, 2012 at Waupun Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Christopher and Carrie Knickelbein Doerr. Eva was baptized and became God’s child on January 8, 2012. Eva’s life was shortened by a physical condition known as Trisomy 18. Her family will miss holding her and watching for her smiles.
Eva will be sadly missed by her parents, Pastor Christopher (Carrie) Doerr; her five brothers, Elisha, Jonas, Benjamin, Thomas, and Simon; her grandparents, Pastor Thomas (Carol) Knickelbein of West Allis and Neil (Elaine) Doerr of Nye, Montana; her great-grandmother, Irmgard Molkentin of Milwaukee; and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services:
Funeral services for Eva Doerr will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Waupun with Pastor Thomas Klusmeyer officiating.
Burial:
Burial will take place at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of the family of Eva Doerr may call at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
The Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home of Waupun and staff are serving the family.
