Evelyn Stange, age 77 of Judson Drive in Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Continental Manor in Randolph.

Evelyn was born on April 5, 1930 in Beaver Dam to Henry and Beuhla (nee Blakely) Gensch. She was a 1948 graduate of Randolph High School and on May 28, 1955 she married Milton Stange in Randolph. Evelyn worked at Green Giant, Dean Foods in Cambria, and at Wisconsin Cheesman in Sun Prairie. Evelyn's most treasured times were spent with her family. She dearly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, and she enjoyed reading books, playing BINGO, going to the casino and having coffee with her friends.

Evelyn is survived by her five children, Sharon (Lugene) Dykstra, Randolph, Gail (James) White, Beaver Dam, Brenda (Tim Sr.) Vanderhei, Randolph, Michael (Mary) Stange, Burnett, and David (Doreen) Stange, Beaver Dam; her best friend, Charlene Burgess, Madison; her 7 grandchildren, Penny (Rick) Hull, Shane (Callie) Dykstra, Nathan Dykstra, Ashley (fiance Kevin Beal) Dykstra, Todd (Kamille) White, Sara (Drew) Falkowski, and Tim Jr. (Angela) Vanderhei; her 10 great grandchildren, with two more expected. Evelyn is also survived by her brother and sister-in-laws, her cousin William (Arlene) Gensch, Juneau, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by Milton in 1999, her parents, one daughter, Lisa in 1964 and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 29, at 1:00 pm at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd in Beaver Dam. Visitation will also be held on Sunday, July 29, at church from noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
