Faye Eileen Laybourn, daughter of Roland and Lorraine Laybourn, was born March 3, 1951 and passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh with her family by her side.

Visitation for Faye will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Markesan United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kyochul Shin officiating. Burial will take place at Markesan Memorial Cemetery.

Faye grew up in rural Markesan and graduated in 1969 from Markesan High School. She worked as a CNA in Beaver Dam and then went back to school to be an LPN. She then started working at Riverside Hospital in Waupaca until her retirement.

Faye was always up for an adventure or road trip, traveling through most states in the U.S. She also loved to bake, quilt, read and attend auctions. Her family meant the world to her. She was a lifelong member of Markesan United Methodist Church. She was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross, the Food Pantry and served as a guardian for individuals in Waupaca County. In her lifetime, she donated over eight gallons of blood.

While she struggled with health issues throughout her life, Faye kept her faith in the Lord and is now safely home. She was welcomed by her Mom and Daddy, little sister Vicki and her little brother, Kevin. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Brenda, niece, Cindy and nephew, Nick.
