Frances Koronkiewicz

Frances Koronkiewicz, age 84, of Waupun, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Frances was born September 29, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Otto and Frances Daly Schueler. Frances was born and raised in Chicago, and eventually moved to Hammond, Indiana, Beaver Dam, Fox Lake, and Waupun, WI. Her life revolved around being a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. As the children grew up she worked in various capacities. On December 17, 1960 she married John Dunham Sr. The couple resided in Chicago (Roseland area) most of their married lives. They were proud parents of John "Jack", Jeff, and Mike Dunham. In 1994 John Sr. passed away at the age of 54.

On December 22, 1975 Frances married Francis "Frank" Koronkiewicz. Following their marriage they lived in Indiana and later moved to Wisconsin, living in Beaver Dam and later Waupun. Frank and Frances were parents of David Adam Koronkiewicz. Frank passed away on November 13, 2013 at the age of 81. Frank was also the father of Frank, Rick, Robert, and Mark Koronkiewicz.

Frances was an avid gardener, raising various vegetables and fruits of which she canned. Along with gardening she also enjoyed her dogs over many years.

Frances is survived by her children: John "Jack" Dunham, Mike (Sarah) Dunham, and David (Holly) Koronkiewicz; Frank's children: Frank, Rick, Robert, and Mark Koronkiewicz; her grandchildren: Nicole Dunhman, Aly (Rob) Sober, Devon Yocum, Jessica Dunham, Jennifer (Tyler Lewis) Dunham, Chelsea Dunham, and Collin Koronkiewicz; great-grandchildren: Crystal, Olivia, Liam, and Maizy; and her sister, Sharon Stevens.

Frances was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Dunham; and a brother, Carl Schueler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11am at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with John O'Donovan officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10am until the 11am time of service.
