Obituary
Frank Joseph Zauner, age 97 of Markesan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Barrett House in Markesan.
Frank was born on July 23, 1918, the son of Rudolf C. and Agnes (Sznyitar) Zauner. He graduated from Boys Trade and Technical High School in Milwaukee and worked as a tool and die maker. On November 12, 1960, he was united in marriage to June Abendroth in Markesan.
Frank is survived by his siblings, Carrie Sikorski, Paul Zauner, Andre Zauner, Betty Farrior and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 2013, and his siblings, Rudy Zauner, Caroline Zauner, Margaret Oie, Marie Gross and Martha Bruhn.

A Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan with Rev. Ethan Larson officiating. Burial will be at Phelps Cemetery, Markesan.
Visitation for Frank will take place prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
