Gary L. Buzzell, age 87 of Beaver Dam, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison on Monday October 23, 2023.

Gary was born on September 12, 1936, in Wyocena, Wisconsin, the son of Donald and Inez (Maginnis) Buzzell. Prior to retirement, Gary worked for more than 30 years at the Mosinee Converted Paper plant in Columbus. He was also a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.

Gary is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet Buzzell; son, Brian (Denise) Buzzell of Columbus; daughters, Pam Miller of Beaver Dam and Kim (Daryl) Winter of Fall River; five grandchildren, Corinne Winter of Rio, Shannon (Jon) Kreuger of Stoughton, Carol Winter of Fall River, Brandon (Taylor) Buzzell of Columbus, and Matthew Miller of Beaver Dam; ten great-grandchildren, Caylee, Gunner, Mikaela, Maxx, Dawson, Dalton, Cyrus, Cavyn, Dempsey, and Maverick; two sisters, Lola (Ken) Christian and Lois Williams; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hellenbrand and Lee Ann Rohde; one brother-in-law, Cal Wilson; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by many loved ones.

A private graveside service for Gary will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.
