Gary Henning Sr., age 71 of Brandon, WI went to his eternal home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Gary was born on July 22, 1950, the son of Harold "Jack" and Margaret (Daane) Henning. Gary was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Schmid on June 13, 1969 in Brandon, WI.
Gary was a man of many talents. He was a long-haul owner-operator for many years, as he and Bonnie began their marriage. This led Gary and Bonnie venturing into a life-long career owning and operating a small trucking company. The love of the industry followed through to their children, as well as their grandchildren. Gary spent many years teaching his children and grandchildren all the many talents that he had. He was always there with a hardworking hand. He was an incredible motorcycle builder and taught his grandchildren how to be safe drivers. Spending time with his all his children and grandchildren brought Gary absolute joy. Whether it was teaching them, or fishing, he loved being with them and watching them grow. Gary and Bonnie have a very close family, spending many weekends together camping, hunting, biking and just enjoyed being together as much as possible. Besides the love that Gary had for his family, his love for his heavenly father was evident in everything he did.
Gary is survived by the love of his life, his wife Bonnie of Brandon; son, Gary (Kim) Henning Jr. of Markesan; daughter, Kristy (Stuart) Krueger of Brandon; grandchildren, Katee Henning, Kurtis Henning, Kayla (Noah) Henning, Kyle Henning, Isaac (Haley) Krueger, Jacob (Leah) Krueger and Emma (Nathan) Krueger. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, cousins and many dear friends.
To honor the wishes of the family, a small service celebrating Gary's life will be held for immediate family only.
