Gerald "Jerry" Zuehls, 79, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 surrounded by family and friends in his home after a short battle with cancer.
In honoring Jerry's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Princeton. Burial will take place at Memory Hill Cemetery, Princeton.
Jerry was born December 1, 1936 to the late Arthur and Iona (Henke) Zuehls in Green Lake and soon after moved to Princeton where he was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church. Jerry graduated from Princeton High School, was a member of the National Guard and worked both the family farm and full time at Solar/Skelgas Gas Company.
He met his partner for life and married Lois Siggelkow April 4, 1959 at St. John's Lutheran Church. The marriage was blessed with 3 children, Debbie (Bob) Lang, Glenn Zuehls, Gary Zuehls. Together they shared a full life…their faith, their family, their friends and built their family business of 50 years,
Zuehls Heating and Air Conditioning.
Jerry and Lois were partners in everything, especially at play…cards, bowling, boating, snowmobiling, golf and travel. Trips to their home in Beverly Hills, Florida were a special joy in their retirement as they shared with family & friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Zuehls; daughter, Debbie (Bob) Lang; son, Glenn Zuehls; son, Gary Zuehls; grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Lang, New Berlin, WI and Aaron (fiancée Jenna Jehlicka) Lang, Madison, WI; great-grandchildren, Maeve and Lucy Lang, New Berlin, WI; sister, Joanne Nettie, Leesburg, FL; sister-in-law, Joyce Prachel, Princeton, WI and dear friends Rev. Robert (Sharon) Pless.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Walter (Irene) Siggelkow; brothers-in-law, Norm Prachel and Jack Nettie.
