Gerald "Jerry" P. Glover, age 84 of Kingston, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Ripon Medical Center.

A memorial gathering for Jerry will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 177 W. Pearl St., Kingston from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. David Greenfield as Celebrant. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Gerald was born on March 13, 1939, the son of William L. and Lenna (Radtke) Glover. He graduated from Montello High School in 1957 and started working for his older brother, Gordon. In 1964, he went to work for his brother, Bill, when Bill started Glover Metal Building Erectors, Ltd. In Kingston, where he worked until retirement. On July 10, 1982, he was united in marriage to his wife, Lenora "Lenny" Garcia Wirth. After retirement, Jerry started to drive for the Amish. He enjoyed mowing his lawns, tending his pond, and spending time with family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Lenny Glover; children, Wayne (Kelly) Glover of Rochelle, IL, Wanda (Greg) Disterhaft of Ripon, Joel (Lori) Wirth of Canton, OH, and Jennifer (Mark) Kakatsch of Neosho; grandchildren, Tyler (Mallory) Glover, Ashley (Brian) Swanson, Courtney (Clint) Zumer, Kylie Disterhaft, Gunnar Wirth, Colten (Kayla) Schwoch, Raynie (Will) Pero, Tucker Pasbrig, Alissa Kakatsch; four great-grandchildren, with three on the way; sister, Jeanne (Duane) Dederich of Rio; sister-in-law, Generose Glover of Kingston; brother-in-law, Peter (Ardyce) Garcia of West Bend; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lenna; siblings, Gordon (Harriett) Glover, Maxine (George) Peterson, Monna (Cecil) Goodman, and William H. Glover; as well as several nieces and nephews.
