Greg Holzer

Greg Holzer, 73, of Waupun, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Greg was born July 7, 1950 in Baldwin, WI, the son of Irving and Helen Stene Holzer. Greg graduated from St. Croix Central High School, Hammond, WI, in 1969.  After high school, he spent a few years working at a local elevator and farmed with his dad. He then relocated to Waupun, WI and began working at Reabe’s Airport, where he was employed for the last 35 years. Greg was a hard worker and took great pride in his job. During the Christmas season he traveled to Florida to sell Christmas trees, highlighted by selling Dan Marino a 30’ tree.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Kelly Marek; four grandchildren: Meghan (Pat) Borgestad, Taylor Moening, Maxwell Marek, and Mason Marek; four great-grandchildren: Chloe, Brady, Blake, and Briggs; a brother Steve (Vickie) Holzer; a sister, Dixie Holzer; and many nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Connor Newcombe.

Private services will be held.
