Greg "Pudge" Pargeter, age 54, entered the loving arms of heaven, peacefully surrounded by family on November 3, 2025 after a valiant struggle with cancer.
Born in Waupun, Wisconsin, Pudge was the son of Robert and Valerie Grainger Pargeter. He was a graduate of Waupun High School, class of 1989. He then began his career at John Deere as the edge product manager, eventually moving into the field service lead position. During his career he attended Western International University. He enjoyed hunting, gambling, and simply sharing a laugh with friends over a good drink. He cherished every moment spent at the cottage. He and Kari, along with many friends and family enjoyed traveling, often to Vegas or other tropical destinations. Pudge loved adventures and life was never dull. Above all, his boys were the absolute joy of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kari; his sons: Jack (Fiancee MacKenzie Rahn) and Charlie. Pudge is also survived by his father, Robert; sister, Andrea (Kurt) Fenrich; and brothers-in-law, Jeff and Robb (Becky) Lemmenes; his father- and mother-in-law, Dewey and Ginger Lemmenes. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Valerie; and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Pudge will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home from 3 p.m until 6:30 p.m. A prayer will take place at 5:30 p.m. by Pastor Kanon Smit.
