Gregory Lueck

Gregory Lueck, 79, of Waupun, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Greg was born December 21, 1946, the son of Harold and Gladys Hull Lueck. Greg attended Waupun schools, graduating from Waupun High School. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree at UW Stevens Point. Greg was very active in football, baseball, and wrestling, which led to him being voted into Waupun’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He later served as a high school coach for football and wrestling. On October 3, 1970 Greg married Sharon Johnson. The couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Greg was an active fisherman, spending many hours on Big Arbor Vita and Green Lake. He enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Greg had a great love for music and played with the Wright Combination for many years.

Greg is survived by his wife, Sharon Lueck; daughter, Kristin Kastein (Nathan Streich); granddaughter, Maddy Kastein, who he adored; and brother, Fred Lueck (Barb Pershcke).

Greg was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Lueck; parents, Harold and Gladys Lueck; and mother-in-law, Delphine Johnson.

Greg was kind, gentle, and a man with a large sense of humor.
