Harold “Zeke” Nummerdor, 83, of Waupun, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his residence.




Zeke was born December 21, 1931 in Waupun, the son of Ira and Nellie Brink Nummerdor. On April 14, 1951 he married Jeanine Riddiough in Waupun where they resided all their married lives. Zeke was employed at Central State Hospital N/K/A Dodge Correctional Institution for 30 years and retired in 1987. He served the City of Waupun for 40 years as Alderman or Mayor, serving two terms. He was a member of Dodge County Board from 1987-2004. Zeke was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard and served 21 years with a year of active duty at Ft. Lewis Washington during the Berlin Crisis. He was both a member of American Legion Post 210 of Waupun, and Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun.

Zeke is survived by his wife, Jeanine; three children: Kathleen (Robert) Dolajeck of Shawano, Roxanne (Scott) Gross of Waupun, and Steven (Cheryl) Nummerdor of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren: Stacy (Joe) Kelly, Derik Dolajeck, Darcy Boersma, Aaron Gross, Nicole Nummerdor, and Ashley Nummerdor; and seven great-grandchildren: Dana, Emma, Breanna, Stephenie, Jacob, Lucas, and Greyson.

Zeke was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; and a grandson.





Visitation:


Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.



Services:


Funeral services for Harold “Zeke” Nummerdor will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Calvin Vande Zande officiating.



Burial:


Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun. American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will provide military honors.
