Harvey Steinbach, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

A graveside service for Harvey will take place at a later date in April at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Harvey was born at the Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam to Clemens and Edna Steinbach. He was raised on the family farm in Trenton, WI. Harvey graduated from Beaver Dam High School with the Class of 1952. He was employed at the Dodge County Highway Dept for 43 years, from 1953 until his retirement in 1996. On May 7th, 1955, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Daniel at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. He was a recording artist in school, playing the accordion. He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, ice fishing, deer hunting, NASCAR races, Packer games, Wisconsin football, card games, traveling, and gambling trips. He also collected hats and, in his younger years, enjoyed a few beers.

Harvey is survived by his children, Jeff Steinbach, Sue Steinbach, Kathy (Jim) Moritz, and Diane (Roger) Wilding; two grandchildren, Skyler (Ewa) and Shaun (Leslie); three great-grandchildren, Emma, Ana, and baby boy on the way; sister, Darlene McCallum; family pets, Bernie, Roscoe, and Mama Kitty; and further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Phyllis; his parents, Clem & Edna; and brother-in-law, Roy McCallum.

The family would like to thank the nurses, therapists, and as well as the aides from Hillside Home Care.
