Helen Klosterman, 71, of Brandon, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Helen was born April 15, 1943 in Platteville, WI the daughter of Harrison and Bessie Wallace Woods. Helen was a graduate of Platteville High School in 1962. On April 19, 1975 she married John Klosterman in Brandon where they resided all their married lives. She worked for Per Mar Security for several years. Helen was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon.
Helen is survived by her husband, John Klosterman of Brandon; a daughter, Brenda Haysmer-Kind of Fond du Lac; three sons: Larry (Janet) Wallenhorst of Brandon, Mel (fiancée Jan Van Voorhis) Wallenhorst of Red Granite, and Jim (Amy) Wallenhorst of Berlin; grandchildren: Travis and Stacey Kind, Amber (special friend Sam Stollfus), Josey and Andrew Wallenhorst, and Ciara (Matt) White; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Violet Hartman; a grandson, Chad; and three brothers: William, Richard, and Robert Woods.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
A memorial service and celebration of Helen Klosterman’s life will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Bob Rosenberg officiating.
Burial:
Burial of cremains will take place at Brandon Cemetery following the service.
