Henrietta "Etta" Masche, age 65 of Randolph, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice in Fitchburg with her family at her side.
Etta was born on October 8, 1943 in Rochelle, Illinois to Albert and Rosalie (nee Annis) Lentz. In 1962 she was married to John Masche at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She spent most of her years as a home maker and had several interests, which included traveling, shopping at rummage sales, collecting dolls and unicorns, playing with remote control cars and was an avid walker. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family and loved spending time with children. She was a caring person and will always be remembered as "one-of-a-kind".
Etta is survived by two children, Michael Kostolni of Beaver Dam and Novalee Phelps of Green Lake, brothers and sisters, Meredith Lewis and Phyllis Chitwood both of Beaver Dam, Dennis Lentz of Tennessee, William (Becky) Lentz of Cambria, Michael Lentz of Tennessee, Karen (William) Fritz of Columbus, Sharen (Robert) Hansen of Oshkosh, nine grandchildren and a special cousin Gloria (Tony) Hildebrandt of Randolph. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Hubert and her former husband John.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sat. February 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mary Mail officiating. Visitation will also be held on
Sat. February 7, 2009 from 12:00p.m. (NOON) until the time of Service at the Funeral Home.
