Irene was born on October 20,1916 in Beaver Dam to John and Katherine (nee Malak) Glodowski. She was united in marriage to George Wrzesinski and later to Wayne Buntrock. Irene was a member of the former St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Katharine Drexel Parish and the V.F.W. Auxillary. She enjoyed bowling, doing ceramics, gardening and spending time with her family. Irene was a good ciocia (aunt in Polish) who completed our family and she will forever be in our hearts.

Irene is survived by a sister, Evelyn Pritchard of Beaver Dam; nieces and nephews, Jack Pritchard of Beaver Dam, Jerry (Judi) Pritchard of Brookfield, Jeff (Torrey) Pritchard of Dousman, Elaine (Tim) Ahearn of Beaver Dam, Evonne (Jason) Schmitz of Fond du Lac, Mary (Don) Hemerski of Plover, Kathy (Mel) Young of Bear Creek, Carol (Frank) Kuenzi of Beaver Dam, Tim (Loni) Brzezinski and Celine Brzezinski both of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband George and second husband Wayne, along with 4 brothers, 5 sisters and a nephew Tom Brzezinski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 2:30p.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 511 S. Spring St. in Beaver Dam with Fr. Michael Erwin as celebrant. Visitation will take place prior to the Mass starting at 1:30p.m. at the Church. Burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery and a luncheon will follow at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam.
