Jack G. Rhodes Sr., age 77 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 27, 2014 surrounded by his family.

Jack was born on November 27, 1937 in Beaver Dam to Jack W. and Margret (Soldner) Rhodes. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1956 and was united in marriage to Judith Verriden on June 25, 1960 at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He worked as a pattern maker at Monarch Range in Beaver Dam.

Jack loved his hobby farm and garden. He enjoyed antique tractors and being a part of the Dodge County Antique Power Club. Jack was also a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, the Dodge County Historical Society and the National Rifle Association.

Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judi of Beaver Dam; his children, Jack A. (Rita) Rhodes Jr. of Beaver Dam; Jill (John Nebl) Rhodes of DeForest; Jennifer (fiancé Brian Cowan) Rhodes of Watertown; Joseph (John Helps) Rhodes of Ottawa, Canada, Janinne (James) Skorzewski of Hutto, TX and Judith R. (Thomas) Engels of Cottage Grove; nine grandchildren, John (Melissa) Rhodes of Milwaukee, Katie (Tim) Lesperance of Chicago, IL, Brianna Rhodes of Beaver Dam, Abbie Skorzewski of TX, Megan Skorzewski of TX, Jackson Skorzewski of TX, Morgan Engels of Cottage Grove, Jamey Engels of Platteville and Reagan Engels of Cottage Grove.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Al and Viola Verriden; and his brother, Thomas Jack Rhodes.
