Jack G. Webster, age 72 of Markesan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Jack was born on February 24, 1944 in Oshkosh, the son of Gordon and Helen (Ellner) Webster. He graduated from York High School in Yorktown, VA. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On July 20, 1984, Jack was united in marriage to Sandy Boehmer in Yorktown, VA. He worked as a civil servant, and later as a school bus driver until retirement in 2013. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting in his younger days, playing cards, especially Sheepshead, and grilling out. He also had a special love for his dogs.

Jack was survived by his wife, Sandy of Markesan; his children, Jason (LauraLee) Webster of Newport News, VA and Holly (Todd) Andrews of Yorktown, VA; four grandchildren, Brittany Billeter, Dakota Rust, Dalton Webster and Pippa Webster; brother, James (Barbara) Webster of Newport News, VA; nephew, Jeff Webster of North Carolina; good friends, Joann (Ken) Prill of Markesan; other relatives and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

In honoring Jack's wishes, private family services will be held.
