Jane was born on March 16, 1942 to Edwin and Maxine (nee Ring) Kleindl in Beaver Dam. She graduated from Fox Lake High School in 1961 and later worked at her father's tavern, Kleindl's Tavern, Green Giant and Casey's Tavern, all in Fox Lake. In her most recent years, Jane worked at Mullin's Drive-In in Fox Lake. Jane loved working at Mullin's; the staff was like her second family. She enjoyed working with all the girls and loved to watch them grow throughout their lives. She was often treated as a "grandmother" to the girls as she would be shown their prom dresses, invited to weddings and was often introduced to their newborn children. Throughout all the generations she had seen come and go, she always remained close to many of the former staff. She loved to decorate for her two favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas. She also loved doing all the baking for Christmas. Jane enjoyed taking gambling trips with family and friends and collecting Kewpie Dolls. She was a very loving and giving person and will be deeply missed. Jane was a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish in Fox Lake.

Jane is survived by her children, Ann (fiancé Steven Uhrman) Buchda of Fox Lake, Craig Henricksen of Fox Lake, Brandi Henricksen of Ashville, N.C.; grandchildren, Ben Buchda, Seth Buchda and one more that is due in August; great-grandchildren, Grant Buchda and Jocelyn Johnson; her loving friend of over 30 years, Gerald "Moose" Mullin of Fox Lake; siblings, Brock (Linda) Kleindl of Algoma, Katherine Collins and Jon (Marlene) Kleindl, both of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Ann Juliet; brother-in-law Jerry Collins, and other relatives.

A Funeral Service for Jane will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Fr. Mike Wild officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery in Fox Lake, with a luncheon to follow at the Fox Lake American Legion Post #521, 210 E. State St. in Fox Lake.
