Jane Zangl, age 82 of LeRoy, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Jane was born on August 13, 1927 to Fred & Clara (Schaumburg) Michael in the town of Waupun. On May 11, 1957, she was married to Roman Zangl at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in LeRoy. Jane worked at National Rivet in Waupun before helping her husband on the farm. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching sports on TV and spending time with her family. She really cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jane was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.

Jane is survived by her two sons, Dave (Ann) Zangl of Campbellsport and Ken (Sue) Zangl of Eldorado; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Irene Seibel of Fond du Lac; her three brothers, Gerald (Betty) Michael of Beaver Dam, Earl Michael of Ramsey, Minnesota and Dennis (Betty) Michael of Burnett; her sister-in-law, Lynn Michael of Waupaca; and her brother-in-law, Merlin Zangl of LeRoy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roman in 1986; her brother, Elliot Michael; brother-in-laws, Art, Edgar and Donald Zangl; sister-in-laws, Lorraina Priepke and Margaret Simon; and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jane will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, W3081 Hwy Y, Town of LeRoy with Father Tom Biersack officiating. Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
