Janice W. Greenfield, 71, of rural Waupun, died at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 with her husband at her side.




Janice was born September 30, 1942 in Friesland, WI to John and Alma Minnema Koopmans. On October 7, 1960 she married Wesley A. Greenfield in Waupun. Janice graduated from Cambria High School. Janice was employed at Larson’s Canning Factory, The Christian Home of Waupun, and also worked on the family farm. She was a coordinator for the Alto Fair food tent and a sewing volunteer for 4-H. She enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and attending craft shows with her husband. Also special to her were cooking, gardening, and especially her love of music. She loved to attend her grandkids extra-curricular activities and to have family gatherings at their home. Janice was a member of Living Hope Community Church in Fox Lake.

Janice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wesley, of rural Waupun; children, Beth (Kevin) Stendel of Watertown, Robert (Yvonne) Greenfield of rural Waupun, and Debra (Dana) Turnmeyer of Lena, IL; four grandchildren, Deanna Stendel, Jennifer Greenfield, and Zachary and Andrew Turnmeyer; her sisters, Joleen (Jerry) Stadler of Oshkosh, Shirley (Jim) Krueger of Cross Plains, Marilyn (Dennis) Gorsuch of Cambria, and Kathy (Gerry) Nickerson of Columbus; brothers, John (Amy) Koopmans of Albany and Dale (Debbie) Koopmans of Friesland; brother-in-law, Austin Buentello of Beaver Dam; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Beverly Buentello; and nephews, Steven Stadler and Russell Koopmans.






Visitation:


Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.



Services:


Funeral services for Janice Greenfield will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Living Hope Community Church in Fox Lake with Rev. Justin Douglas officiating.
