Jean J. Arvold

Jean J. Arvold, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Jean was born on June 12, 1929, the daughter of Stanley and Josephine Voita. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including walking the trails on the family property, keeping things clean and tidy, and watching her favorite sports. She especially loved working in her yard and took great pride in mowing the lawn. Jean also cherished the time she spent with her special friends, Arlene and Kathy.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Linda (Mike) Walgenbach; her son, David (Claire) Arvold; grandchildren, Melissa (Phil) Bushman, Christopher Buchs (Sarah Lynch), Katherine (Dan) Gerdman, Kristen (Alex) Sparrow, Kacey Arvold, and Brian Arvold; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Bushman, Lacey Bushman, Emiana Bushman, and Casen Buchs, Aiden Lynch, and Collin Lynch. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her eldest brother Stanely Voita who died in infancy, her son and daughter in law, Michael and Susan Arvold; her sister, Irene Dallman; her brother, Larry Voita; and many other relatives.

In keeping with Jean's wishes, private family services will be held. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Brandon.
