She married James Swierzynski on Sept. 5th, 1981 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman. Jean loved birds and fed them all throughout the year in her various bird feeders. She also enjoyed her flowers every summer and being outdoors on the deck watching the cars go by. Jean worked in a few factories in her early years, but she loved people and found bartending to be her passion. Jean bartended for over 30 years mostly in the Lowell area, including The Country Tap, Bruce & Donna's and lastly for Pumpkin Center Tap. Throughout the years, Jean made many friends and acquaintances young and old. She had a calendar of birthdays and anniversaries of many patrons and friends and called them into "The Barn Show" on a daily basis. Jean loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren, and loved to watch the "Wheel Of Fortune", "Hee Haw" and would never miss listening to Uncle Bill and the Barn Show on the Beaver Dam radio station where she actually first met her husband Jim.
