Jean volunteered countless hours of time and talent with Girl Scouts, Lincoln School PTA, Job's Daughters and church activities. A life-long member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Jean, at various times, served as Elder and Deacon, taught Sunday school, and directed the youth choir. For over sixty years Jean sang with the church choir. She loved music and singing and also sang with the Oratorio Society for many years.
