Jean L. Greenwill, age 85 of Brookfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare- Franklin Hospital in Franklin.

Jean was born on May 10, 1928 to Stuart and Lorene (nee Oelke) Karsseboom. She attended Downer Seminary in Milwaukee and graduated from Stevens Jr. College in Columbia, MO. She later went on to graduate from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, with a degree in marketing. Jean later worked as the Director of Volunteers at Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee.

Jean is survived by her first and second cousins, Carol (John) Hanson of Brookfield, Carol Conley of Edina, MN, William (Linnea) Hanson, David Wachholz, Sarah (Richard) Ruhl and Daniel (Stephanie) Wachholz and her distant cousins. She is further survived by special friends, Denise Bartlet, Margaret Krentz and Gloria Hawkins; and God children, Kathy Homa and Dawn Reed. Jean is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

In honoring Jean's wishes a private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, WI

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the tender care shown to Jean at Midland Terrace Group Home from Denise, Dan, Candy and all the aids. Also a heartfelt thank you for the loving care Jean received at Wheaton Franciscan in Franklin in the I.C.U. and 3 North.
