Jeanne A. Hecht, age 84, of Nekoosa, WI, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation for Jeanne will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 714 Church St., Clyman from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Assumption Cemetery in Clyman.

Jeanne was born on March 31, 1940, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Thomas and Theresa (Nebl) Godsell. On July 15, 1961, she was united in marriage to her husband, Donald Hecht, at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Horicon. Jeanne cherished the time spent with her family and loved her trips going up north to Stratford to see them. She enjoyed watching all Wisconsin sports, as well as cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. She also loved spending time with Dan's dog, Peggy Sue. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman

Jeanne is survived by her children, Diane Rose of Helena, MT,  Daniel (Charlene) Hecht of Stratford, and Debbie (Jamie) Kluge of Nekoosa; her grandchildren: Melissa (Joe) Webster, Alan Rose, Heather Rose, Jim (Sammi) Kluge, Andy (Jes) Kluge, Eric (Miranda) Kluge, Katelyn (Colton Elliot) Kluge, Kolton Kluge, Cassie (Brian) Tauschek, and Christopher Gremler, Jr.; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom Godsell of Juneau, Robert Godsell of Nekoosa, and Kathy Buss of Oconomowoc, and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sister, Margaret Fritsche, sister-in-law, Gloria Godsell; brother-in-law, Howie Buss; and other relatives.
