Jennifer "Jen" L. Hahn, age 38 of Cambria, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 14, 2010 at her home.
Jennifer L. Schneider was born on March 19, 1972 to David "Skip" and Katherine "Kate" (nee Merrill) Schneider. Jen graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1990 and furthered her education with a degree in Equine Management from Lakeshore Technical College. She loved her Boxer dogs and had a true passion for animals, which was obvious through her variety of work experiences that included working for a dude ranch in Colorado, Randolph Veterinary Clinic, Animart, Doctors Foster and Smith in Rhinelander, Weyland Dairy and Nehls Dairy Farm. Most recently, Jen worked for American Breeders Service in DeForest. On February 24, 2006 she was united in marriage to Adam Hahn on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and a Sunday School Teacher. Jen was an amazing wife and mother. She had an unending love for her family and had great dreams of raising her two daughters. She treasured every moment she spent with them. Jen touched the lives of many people, all of whom will dearly miss her.
Jen left behind family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Adam and daughters Gwen and Gretta of Cambria; her mother and step-father, Kate and Wayne Schneider of Beaver Dam; her father and step-mother, David and Jane Schneider of Fox Lake; her sister, Amy (Buddy Gossink) Schneider of Beaver Dam; her father and mother-in-law, Jeff and Beth Hahn of Cambria; her grandma, Kathleen Schneider of Beaver Dam; her brother-in-law Kirk (Sarah) Hahn of Lena, WI; her sister-in-law Sara Hahn of Portage; two nieces, Meadow and Hope Hahn; and her grandparents-in-law, Eugene and Lorraine Hahn of Cambria and Ruth DeYoung-Cupery of Randolph. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Jen was preceded in death by her son, Clayton in 2008, her grandparents Lynn Jr. and Marilyn Merrill, Joseph Schneider, and other relatives.
A Memorial Service for Jennifer will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 215 Gould Street, Beaver Dam with Rev. Gordon Sorensen officiating and assisted by Deacon Karen Ferstl. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam and also on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church.
