Obituary
Jerome "Shorty" K. Friese, age 78 of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Almond, WI.
Shorty was born on August 21, 1935 to Harvey and Anna Friese. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Before retirement, he worked at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. He loved going to auctions and rummage sales, as well as attending local races and spending time with his family.
Shorty is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Friese of Beaver Dam, Angela Friese of Reeseville and Sandra Mayfield of Plainfield; grandchildren, Travis Friese, Tasha Quintana, Eric, Bradley and Matthew (Beth) Czlapinski, Ashley (Ebson) Gaye, Nicole Moen and Davin Friese; great-grandchildren, Lea, Xavier, Mason, Tyler and Mathew; two brothers; one sister-in-law; special friends, Rollie Koerner and Dave (Sarah) Hansen and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and other relatives.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam.
