IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerry John
Gorman
April 12, 1944 – June 20, 2017
Jerry was born on April 12, 1944 in Madison, the son of William and Margaret (Simon) Gorman Sr. On November 7, 1964 he was united in marriage to Delores Schwantes at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. He worked as a welder for John Deere for 32 years. His hobbies and interests included fly fishing, stream preservation, and teaching fly tying to people of all ages. As he thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, he was a member of Trout Unlimited and loved camping and trips to Montana to go fly fishing. His front porch and his lawn were always immaculately maintained, something he took great pride in.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Delores of Beaver Dam; children, Ann (John) Woolley of Portage, MI, Tim (Angela) Gorman of Mayville, and Patrick (Elizabeth) Gorman of Fond du Lac; grandchildren Katlyn (Garrett) Terburg, Mitchell Woolley, Magdelyn Woolley, Keaton Allison, Colin Allison, and Maria Gorman; great-grandchildren Bruce and Maverick Terburg; brother William (Judy) Gorman Jr.; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Earl Bridge; and other relatives.
If desired, memorials in Jerry's name may be directed to Trout Unlimited Aldo Leopold Chapter or St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
