Jimmy "Jim" B. Hein, age 77 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Jim was born on March 18, 1933 in Beaver Dam to Emery and Edith (nee Westover) Hein. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1951. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. Upon his return back to Beaver Dam, Jim worked for the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer in Waupun from 1957 until his retirement in 1986. Jim was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church, American Legion Post # 146 and V.F.W. Post #1163, all in Beaver Dam.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Myram of Beaver Dam; his children, Dawn Hein of Beaver Dam, Debbie (Scott) Liddicoat and Brian (Pat) Hein both of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Casey (Aaron) Thibodeau, Cody, Carl, Sam and Jacob Hein, Adrian and Damon Liddicoat; a sister Dona Papacosta, a brother Richard (Peggy) Hein and a sister-in-law, Colleen Hein all of Beaver Dam. His is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his mother and father-in-law, a brother Robert Hein and other relatives.
In honoring Jim's wishes, a private family service will be held. Memorials may be directed to First Ev. Lutheran Church, 311 W. Mackie St. in Beaver Dam or Dodge County Humane Society, N6839 State Road 26, Juneau, WI 53039.
