R. Joan Sennhenn, age 80 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Joan was born in Illinois on December 6, 1944, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie Derry. She was a graduate of Fall River High School. On July 20, 1963, she was united in marriage to her husband, Wayne Sennhenn at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. In her free time, Joan enjoyed cooking and baking, as well as crocheting and watching the birds. She also enjoyed taking trips to Colorado and listening to music, especially polka music and John Denver.

Joan is survived by her children, Amy (Todd) Bader and Melissa Edwards; grandchildren, Myah Humphrey and Gregory Humphrey; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Harvey) Erdman; sister-in-law, Lynn Derry; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Sennhenn; parents; grandson, Christopher Bader; brother, Michael Derry; son-in-law, Steve Edwards; and other relatives.

In honoring Joan's wishes, no services will be held.
