John W. Beers Jr., age 43 of Beaver Dam, entered his eternal life with the Lord his savior, suddenly on February 16, 2010 while doing what he loved to do, working out. He was born on October 22, 1966 in Beaver Dam to John W. and Kathryn (nee Buske) Beers Sr. John was a wonderful father, brother, uncle and friend to all. John was a very spiritual person and through his spirituality, he touched the lives of many people in different ways. He was a pleasure to be around and always had something silly to say. John was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved baseball

John is survived by his loving companion, Christina Nicholson of Beaver Dam, a son Ross and a daughter Alora; his parents, John (Kathryn) Beers Sr. of Beaver Dam; a sister Kelly Beers of Beaver Dam and two nephews, Zamir and Zander. John is further survived by his dog Loki, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

John was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents,a uncle James Steger and a cousin Austin Steger.

A Memorial Gathering for John will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam. Burial will take place at Cattaraugus Cemetery in Waupun.
