Obituary

Jon Alan Nadeau, age 76 of Beaver Dam, passed away at home on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Jon was born on March 16, 1948, and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He proudly served his country as a submariner in the United States Navy as a sonar man on the USS Trout, USS Trumpetfish, and USS John C. Calhoun. He was a licensed electrician and postmaster for the USPS. He became a biomedical technician, where he worked for many years repairing hospital equipment, retiring in 2013. On December 27, 1992, he was united in marriage to his wife, Karen, in Florida. Jon was an avid writer and wrote many short stories. He also loved scuba diving, reading and working on crossword puzzles. Above all, he cherished his family and especially his grandchildren.

Jon is survived by his wife, Karen Nadeau; children, Josh (Catherine) Nadeau; Jerame (Shauna) Nadeau; Kevin (Michelle) Bush; Kristi-Lee (Raymond) Theel; grandchildren, Lucas Nadeau; Corey Grieshammer; Aaron (Hannah) Bush; Zachary Bush; Nicole Nadeau; Nathan Nadeau; Miranda (Drew) Collicott; great-grandchildren, Benedict Bush; Brogyn Holtz; Kaelynn Collicott; brother, Gary Nadeau; sister, Renee Nadeau; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and other relatives.

A celebration of life for Jon will take place at a later date .
