Joseph Fuchs

Joseph Fuchs, 71, of Waupun, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Waupun Memorial Hospital. 

Joseph was born August 21, 1952 to Melvin and Jeannette Kreger Fuchs. Joseph graduated from Wittenberg High School in 1971. He baked for his dad's business, Wunderbar Bakery in Mayville, which he later became partner of and also worked for several grocery stores around the area. On December 19, 1993 he married Sheree Miller at the Mayville Pavilion. Joseph did several baking contests and baked several wedding cakes. He loved hunting and fishing, was very artistic with leather, and enjoyed woodworking, smoking, and grilling meats. He also shot trap for several years. Joseph loved the marsh and being outdoors. 

Joseph is survived by his wife Sheree, of 31 years and 9 children: Jonathan Fuchs (Lori Glenn), Joshua (Marie) McGinnis, Jesse Fuchs (Melissa Wolf), Sarah (Joseph) Zulke, Esther McGinnis, Ezra McGinnis, Isaiah McGinnis, Jeremy Fuchs, and Joseph Fuchs (Larissa Avila); 18 grandchildren; a sister, Julie (Greg) Swart; sisters-in-law: Judy Miller, and Rhonda (Dennis) Graumann; brother-in-law, Myron (Cindy) Miller; and many nieces and nephews. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. 

A private memorial service will be held.
