Joyce Klinge, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

Joyce was born on April 6, 1940 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Stella Tvesme Steinhauer. On August 10, 1968 she married Herb Klinge. They created an amazing life together in Middleton/Madison, WI.  Later in their life together, they moved to Three Lakes where Joyce enjoyed working at the local racetrack and attending the races. Joyce was a dedicated member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Every month, she cherished the opportunity to gather with her coworkers from Shopko for luncheons.

A true animal lover, Joyce had a special bond with her beloved dog Anne who she received from Purcell Animal Shelter. She loved gardening and took pride in all her flowers and vegetables. If you ever encountered Joyce in the month of August, you didn't leave her house without her giving you a tomato or two.  Joyce had a fondness for collecting gnomes and attending craft fairs.  Throughout her life she loved attending stock car races with her amazing friends, almost every weekend.

Joyce was also a proud and supportive mother and grandmother, frequently attending the sporting events of her grandson, Adam. Her enthusiasm extended to her passion for traveling in her youth and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan of the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers.

Joyce is survived by her children: Debbie (Jody) Chase and Chris Klinge; her cherished grandchild, Adam Chase; her first cousin, Lavonne Lamb; and other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Herb.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Purcell Animal Shelter Welfare Society where Joyce rescued her beloved dog, Anne.
