Judi Guenthner, age 66, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Judi was born September 16th, 1958 in Bakersfield, California to the late Homer & Gladys Walker.
Judi had the perfect balance of personalities. She was loving and caring but also was stubborn, sassy & spunky. She was never afraid to speak her mind.
Judi loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. It brought her such joy to hear about their achievements in life no matter how big or small they were. She enjoyed watching fake wrestling(WWE), getting her nails and hair done, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys (she loved bantering with Packers fans), she was a LA Dodgers fan, liked to watch soap operas, she enjoyed playing bingo & doing crafts. She loved Dr Pepper, coffee and chocolate.
I.D.U.J, Baby Girl, Jude married her soulmate Jeff Guenthner October 29th 1988 in Las Vegas Nevada. They took their vows very seriously, especially when it came to in sickness and in health. They strived their whole marriage to live a christian life. They were married 33 years before Jeff left in 2021 to go home to our Lord.
Judi was a devoted mother to Jack(Jenny) Larsen, Jeremiah (Kathy) Larsen, Amanda (Craig) Engel & Billy(Patricia) Alderson. Her real pride and joys were her grandchildren: Kimberly(Jordan) Schoen, Tristen (Tristan) Sheese, Tanner Larsen, Brayden Larsen (Ana), Landen Larsen (Amelia), Candyce Engel(thee favorite), Creighton Engel & Kelden Larsen as well as her soon to be great granddaughter Avery. Aside from being survived by all of her children and grandchildren Judi is survived by her siblings: Malodian Browning, Mavrey (Jim) Uptegrove, Homer (Deb) Walker Jr and Mallarie (Troy) Tatro as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A Celebration of Life for Judi Guenthner will be held on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at 12 noon at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12 noon. Judi will be laid to rest at Burton Cemetery in Farmington (Waupaca), Wisconsin shortly after services.
The family would like to thank SSM Hospice for the care they gave mom over the last few months. A special thanks to the staff at Edenbrook of Fond du Lac. The love and care that was shown to her these last couple of years words we will never be able to thank you enough for. She wasn't a resident there, she was family. We will forever be in awe of all of you!
