Judith A. Rueckert, age 83 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering for Judith will take place on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Trinity Church – United Methodist, 308 Oneida St., Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Judy was born in Beaver Dam on August 12, 1941, the daughter of Edmund and Ruth (Fischer) Sauer. On October 7, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gene R. Rueckert at Trinity Church – United Methodist in Beaver Dam, where she was a lifelong member.  Judy retired from Fleet Farm, where she worked for over twenty years. She loved reading, especially history and mystery books and was quite competitive while watching game shows on TV.  Judy enjoyed going to rummage sales and antiquing. Judy was a people person; she could talk to and visit with anyone. Her greatest joy was her children, and she cherished the time she spent with them.

Judy is survived by her children, David Rueckert, Dan (Sandy) Rueckert, Gina (Bruce) Kerbel, and Michelle Rueckert; grandchildren, Adam, Nicole, and Clarissa; great-grandchildren, Landon and Riley; sister, Janice (Michael) Detrie; sister-in-law, Mary Sauer; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Gene Rueckert; brother, Jerry Sauer; daughter-in-law, Penny Rueckert; and other relatives.

Judy's family would like to thank the staff at Hillside Manor for the care she received there in her last months. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Seth Barudin for his years of dedicated and loving care to Judy.
