Obituary
Judith Mary Nico, age 71 of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Juneau.
Judy was born on December 12, 1943 in Beaver Dam, WI, the second child of Damien and Eunice (Buttke) Nico. She grew up with her close-knit family on the family farm near Lost Lake, WI. She attended Sunlit Country School and Randolph public schools. Over the years, Judy was employed with Green Valley, Green Giant and Pick'n'Save in Beaver Dam, as well as Badger Woolen Mills in Hustisford and Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie. Judy was of short stature, but what she lacked in height, her large heart made up for.
Judy will be sadly missed by her brothers, Arthur Nico of Watertown and Terry (Connie) Nico of Juneau; her sisters, Carol (Tom) Mulligan of Redding, CA and Sadie (Randy) Fletcher of Cambria; nieces, Caralee Nico, Rachel Nico Halpren, Jennifer Nico, Stephanie Dukish, Heather Nico and Shawna Berghammer; nephews, William Mulligan, Craig Mulligan, Shawn Nico, Adrian Nico and Adam Dukish; several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, her special friend and caregiver, Patti Soder, other friends, Clara, Marilyn, Randy, Debbie and her many friends at Fall River Meadow Apartments.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and older sister, Catherine Kohrt.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Clearview, Beaver Dam and Columbus Hospitals and Dr. Ralph Poser and his staff for their great care of Judy throughout the years.

A Memorial Service for Judy will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation will be held prior to the service at church, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lost Lake at a later date.
