Judy Ann (Jacklen) Lauth, age 71 of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam, WI after a courageous battle with cancer.

A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Lund officiating. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, Town of Trenton, on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Judy was born on July 13, 1947 in Madison.  She graduated from Columbus High School in 1966. Judy first worked at Gardner Baking in Madison before meeting her husband Alan Lauth, the love of her life and best friend.  After their marriage in 1972 she worked for Howard Ford/Miller Ford in Beaver Dam, then Midland Insurance in Juneau followed by Valley Bank/M&I Bank in Beaver Dam.  After a downsizing of her banking career she started and operated her own cleaning business for 16 years.  Her clients and their pets became good friends, not just clients.  She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, attending car shows, crafting, going to rummage sales and thrift shopping along with volunteering at her church.  Most of all she enjoyed making friends and spending time with them. She also was a known pet lover having had many pets in her life especially her dogs Buffy & Lacey.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Alan Lauth of Beaver Dam; her mother, Doris Arms of Beaver Dam; mother-in-law, Audrey Lauth of Beaver Dam; aunt, Lois Pann of Waterloo; uncle, Don (Helen) Jacklen of Hibbing, MN; special friends, Dave & Lynn Schuster of Beaver Dam; along with other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Jacklen; stepfather, Armin Arms; father-in-law, Arnold Lauth; along with grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members.

Memorials may be directed to the Dodge County Humane Society and First Ev. Lutheran Church.
